Please take a look at it. We'd love to see you on the water with us in 2018. We'll have our annual meeting coming up in February to set rules, fees, etc. As soon as we have a date set for it, I'll post it here and on Facebook.

Due to safety concerns with the rising and swift river, Butler County Bassmasters has made the decision to cancel the 3rd Annual GRCF Open Bass Tournament this coming Saturday, June, 24th. The tournament will be rescheduled at a later date that will be announced in the coming weeks. Any team that pre-registered will have the option of either having their entry fee refunded or have their entry applied to the make-up date tournament. Butler County Bassmasters is sorry for any inconvenience this causes anyone, but the safety of the tournament anglers is the highest priority.

We have released the 2017 schedule a little early this year.  Hopefully everybody can set there schedules up to make as many tournaments as possible.  The 2017 rules will not be updated until we hold our annual meeting sometime in February.  We'll make sure to let everyone know when that will take place.

OPEN Tournament 10/22

Posted on October 12, 2016 at 1:40 AM Comments comments (0)

We will be hosting an OPEN tournament on Green River Pool #3 coming up on October 22nd.  The tournament will be out of the Rochester boat ramp. $40 entry fee/boat. Tournament starts at 7am with weigh in at 3pm.  This was a kind of a spur of the moment thing, since we didn't get to have a tournament out of the Rochester ramp at all this year (due to circumstances beyond our control).

GRCF weigh-in and registration

Posted on June 19, 2016 at 9:40 PM Comments comments (0)
Just so everyone is prepared for how everything will go this Saturday, we wanted to get this out there. Registration will begin at 4:30am at the Morgantown boat ramp and end at 5:40am. Take off position determined by order registration is received. Once the team is registered and entry fee is paid, a BCB member will check your livewell and you will be given a tournament marker, indicating your livewell has been checked and you are registered. This marker will need to be tied to the top of your trolling motor and left on during the duration of the tournament. As soon as your boat is checked, the boat will need to be immediately launched in the river as to avoid congestion at the ramp and time wasted launching after the meeting. Only BCB members participating in the operation of registration, livewell checks, and parking should be launching after the meeting. BCB members will be directing parking to allow space for weigh-in activities. Pre-tournament meeting will begin at 5:45am with at least one member of each team present. Take off will be at 6:00am with an afternoon check-in time of 2:00pm. Weigh-in will begin shortly after check-in. We always strive to run the most efficient tournament possible, ensuring everyone has a great time. Rules and regulations are posted on the entry forms on the home page.

Questions about GRCF Tournament

Posted on June 16, 2016 at 10:55 AM Comments comments (0)

We've gotten a lot of calls and messages asking about registration for the Jackson Chiropractic GRCF Open tournament. You can still register for the event and we'll even be taking registration the morning of the tournament. The early deadline of June 11th was for mailed entries ONLY. You haven't missed your chance to get in on this tournament. Remember, takeoff order is determined by registration number. If you want to pay early, go by the home page and print the registration form and turn it into Danny or Daniel. Or you can pay the morning of the tournament.

We've also had a couple of questions about off limits areas. To answer that, the tournament is Pool #3 (Rochester Dam to Woodbury Dam). Any tributaries inside of Pool #3 are allowed, so long as you can access it by boat. Same as any other BCB tournament
